Red #Sud-Est #wine from France: 2008 #organic: http://tinyurl.com/3qjhotd

Wine name: Autrement Languedoc. Producer: Gérard Bertrand à F 11100. Vintage: 2008. Purchased from carrefour. Appearance deep purple, medium and smooth on the glass with quite dry with a nice prune flavour and black cherries aromatics. The attack is quite dry with a nice prune flavour and black cherries. Evolution: Black cherries, black pepper, quite tannic with a finish which is black cherries in nose and on swallow. Sweetness: 0. Acidity: 3.5. Tannin: 3.5 with a texture which is very rough and the length is a little patchy. As for balance, it's could do with a little more body to match the tannin and acidity. The wine has a cork closure and is 13% abv. Overall, this wine is: Not bad but clearly a cheapy. Good for the price and at least it's orgamic. My score (which is NOT the same as Robert Parker's!) is 79 points.
