Red #Bordeaux #wine from France: 2005 : http://tinyurl.com/3qjhotd

Wine name: d'Argadens. Producer: Sichel. Vintage: 2005. Purchased from uncorked. Appearance deep purpley red, medium and smooth on the glass with redcurrants, quite light yet with a slight richness aromatics. The attack is medium and tannic. Evolution: Forest floor, old leather, dried black cherries with a finish which is blackcurrants in the nose and on swallow. Sweetness: 0. Acidity: 2.5. Tannin: 4 with a texture which is very rough sandpaper! and the length is missing slightly in the centre. As for balance, it's very nice, went well with a steak, and really satisfying to drink. The wine has a cork closure and is 14% abv. Overall, this wine is: Very tasty, my sort of Bordeaux and quite chewy with lots of fruit flavours. My score (which is NOT the same as Robert Parker's!) is 90 points.
