Purchased from: Home-made!

Appearance: Slightly transluscent purple, thick and viscous on the glass.

Aromatics: Slightly peppery and spicy.

Attack: Smooth, luxurious and juicy.

Evolution: Black fruits, liquorice, aniseed notes, Black Jack sweets.

Finish: Morello cherries on swallow, cloves in nose.

Acidity: 2.5

Tannin: 0.5

Texture: Mouth-watering

Length: Excellent

Balance: Could be richer, but the Black Jack flavour is fascinating!

Notes: Nice, but as I said, could be richer. The flavours are interesting and the balance is good. It's quite full-on so best enjoyed in liqueur glasses.
